The NOSEY Generation

Words: 85

After much thought the only appropriate name that I could come with for my generation is the nosey generation. In this day and age there is constant texting and internet use which allows people to stay in contact for twenty four hours a day seven days a week. The paparazzi simply follow around celebrities from artists to politicians to find out what they are doing. These celebrities get scrutinized more for their private lives than the substance of the material they are supposed to produce.

You make a good point. Our generation is so used to gossip and technology just makes it handy to do so. But I've always thought that gossiping is also a natural, human thing to do. Sadly enough.

I try to stay out of the gossip in the media but sometimes there's no avoiding it, and for some people it's a way of life. It's sad but true that we do live in a nosey generation.

Sometimes it seems likes we're more focused on other people's lives than our own. Some teenagers probably know more about the Jonas Brothers than they do their own families. But, I don't see us changing much in the future.
